If you’ve followed the never ending dialog on suppressors, you’ve probably heard the recent back and forth about flow through cans sparking and in particular, HUXWRX. With everything, you have to be careful, because the iNfLuEnCeR world is mostly fake and gay on top of being stupid. If you shoot 300 blackout through a 5.56 I’m sure it does spark, just a little bit. And if you don’t disclose that you’re working for a competitor while you’re doing it you’re simply playing a dirty game.
Either way I put it to the test and on film. See for yourself.
A flowthrough can has some drawbacks, no doubt. They’re not the best at maximum sound suppression, but then again the 5.56 is only going to get so quiet anyway. But on the AR they run clean and cool with a greatly reduced amount of gas going back into the action, leading to decreased wear on the bolt lugs and barrel extension.
