Books Are In Route

I’m FINALLY getting close to being caught up on things on this end. If you ordered a book, they are in route to your location. For those that didn’t know, I’ve got a run of FM 7-93 Long Range Surveillance Operations and The Special Forces Antenna Handbook back in print, pocket sized and spiral bound for $20 per copy. My goal is having something pocket sized that can be used in the field, thrown in a ruck, back pocket, drag bag, etc and used. This is the first of a few important, out of print or obscure books I’m putting back into hard copies. You can download them (and a lot more) for free on my References Library as well.

If you want to order one, shoot me an email at [ [email protected] ]. I’ve got a few copies left.

Well damn Howdy from the borderlands of north Wyoming. You have showed me what a $20 bill can get. Nicely-done and spiral bound on top. Got both books within the past week by mail.

I am old enough to appreciate paper v computer reading of the so-called “valuable” pdf versions of knowledge. When my computer battery takes a dump, I’m not real sure of how a replacement battery for my laptop might come to me by best means, that being by horse after Amazon has gone tits up.

Paper manuals rule, buy them now. Your descendants will appreciate the books much more than your thumb drives that didn’t make it to the “new” library of knowledge. The surviving knowledge, will be that passed on by voice to the local tribe, and that passed on by the printed word when people learn to set type again. I keed … but not by too much.

I recommend building paper copies of everything a person thinks is necessary. Don’t trust your files, as your laptop just might go TU due to an event that you were not copied on in advance. Smarter people than me have been recommending this thing for the past twenty years.
