Looking at some of the field antennas, how do you make or source the 400-600 ohm connectors?

Thanks for all your knowledge and teachings!

Can you post a link to these resistors? I have searched Amazon, Ebay, and several electronic parts houses and cant find what I am looking for. I can find 400 ohm but only 1/4 watt. In one post you said 400 ohm 10 watt. I can not find these anywhere. Since I don’t know what I am looking for I may have skipped over it and not realized. Any help would be much appreciated.

  2. I too have been looking for higher wattage non-inductive resistors to make a Terminated Dipole (ideally — 600 ohm at 50 watts)
I looked up the link you provided, and it said that it was a “wirewound” resistor.
From prior readings, I was under the belief that “wirewound” were NOT “non-inductive” and that carbon or carbon type resistor was needed for a non- inductive” purpose.

I’m no expert, so could you clarify this issue

Mr. Scout, God bless you! You’ve become a household name with me and my CinC/CCH better half, in the past 6 months.
We’re not as well prepared as I’d like, but your work has us far better than I could’ve hoped for!
I’ve been getting some of the stuff you’ve recommended. Most of it I can figure out. The 2 UV-5R’s however… my only radio experience is my dad’s 1946 Zenith TransOceanic. (still works). But I’m a PC geek, reckon I’ll keep trying.
I’ve put 25% of my late mom’s life insurance into 2 rnd trip to DC for 1/6/21. I figure it’s the last chance for our President… and peace.
We’re in Eugene Oregon, don’t know a single person we can trust. Hopefully, we’re outta here for SC soon.
    Keep the Faith, brother!
